I want to be an astronaut

RAN's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says he wants to be the first Iranian launched into space.

The bearded leader says he is ready for blast-off and will personally head his country's goal of manned space flight.
Ahmadinejad claims he is willing to sacrifice his life for Iran's ambitious program.

He said: "I am ready to be the first human to be sent to space by Iranian scientists.
